Slamming the boards

I think it is only useful if it is evident that you are a librarian, otherwise they might think you're someone who just knows a lot!!! There are library management systems which allow users to rate books, it just depends on the system and the library itself deciding to enable this facility. I guess it is helpful for readers advisory. I won't be doing the adventure section as I don't want to get a yahoo account
